Since we started our project Beyond the Classroom, we, Mehtap Erim, Sultan Aydın and Onur Tekin from Havza Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, our co-founder from Macedonia and also 6 colleagues from different high school in Turkey, had made a lot of progress.
As founders of this project, we created our team and shared our twinspace and Facebook group and declared the project.
We met new colleagues from Macedonia and did our first Zoom meeting. After our first online meeting, we made brainstorming and contest for logo of our project in December. We put logos in GoogleSurvey to vote.
Our pupils took photographs on their way to school and described the photos. They wrote their descriptions by using Padlet. On New Year, we wrote our wishes from New Year and customs around our neighbourhood in our city or country by using DotStorming.
Our third activity was writing an acrostic poem with "Beyond the Classroom" letters. Our students wrote their poems by sharing words related to out-of-school learning environments. We gathered all poems in Canva and made our presentation video. Now, our pupils are studying on their learnings at home or around home.
They will be tell about a household chore by their photos. After that, we will take a trip to a museum, a gallery, etc. On 9th May we will celebrate E-twinning Day. We have learned a lot of things so far and had a good time with our pupils.
